Episode 05: Ebay

eBay is your catch-all.

Large shoes, cheap clothes that fit well enough, and if you are lucky, socks. I use eBay for new and used (like new) items that are nice enough to wear around the house, the gym, or with good friends, but not items I would were to work to business occasions. Every now and then, I am able to save money by downloading honey for coupons and watch alerts. Honey only works with google chrome but is well worth the free investment.

Search eBay for big and tall items specific to you. I use eBay more than Amazon because they have more items specific for me. Sometimes, I will see if Amazon has a similar item and price relate. I love eBay’s bid option as well. Personally, I have been “watching” a pair of shoes for about 3 years now because the buyer is requesting an unreasonable amount of money for them. I offer an unreasonable amount of money for them, and it always gets declined. Once I offer a reasonable amount (if they are still available), the seller will be more likely to accept due to the amount of time they have been trying to sell them for.

It is sometimes a waiting game to get a fair price, but it is well worth the wait.
